Chris Karel is a member of the AMA NEO Executive Board and serves as Vice President of Programming & Events. Chris works as creative director for Cinecraft, a video production company.

Who are you? Please tell us a little about yourself.
I am a dad, spouse, volunteer, writer, creative director, businessman, Star Wars nerd, sports fan, and foodie! I’m currently creating a series of short video stories that will help tell my client’s story to a variety of audiences.

What types of activities are you in charge of?
I build relationships to generate meaningful, relevant, and valuable events for our membership and the greater marketing community.

Why did you join the AMA?
Joining the AMA was about growing my network and adding knowledge to my marketing skillset.

What do you love about volunteering?
I love helping people.

Platform Tennis (Paddle), Gourmet Cooking, Wine tasting, fishing, streaming, writing

• I was born on a day of a massive Monarch butterfly migration.

What are your career and/or personal ambitions?
I want to publish a book, make a Hollywood movie, and live in a tropical area.
